Today we're going to take a look at breathing. The breath is something I realised I wasn't doing properly until I started practicing yoga doing breathwork many years ago. Although I didn't do this type of breathwork back then like this, this was a great extension. This meditation I found very exhilarating and gives an awesome energy boost and perspective to action where needed.
Getting our breathing in sync with 'us' or vice versa is very important. It really helped me to understand all those years ago how my breathing capacity was affected by trauma, as in these experiences while in fright and flight response we can hold our breath and not fully exhale and our muscles can tense and not release. For me, I noticed I wasn't taking good full breaths. Stress, busyness, grief, shock, and trauma can knock us out of paying attention to ourselves, our environment that we can wander and wonder around feeling ungrounded or limited. It's time to come back into the moment and shift into possibility. Yoga and Breathing Technique Classes helped me during my recovery. What I have learned continues to help me maintain and remind me whether is 'stuff' going on or not.
This is a great guided meditation to help bring an awareness of the breath and get a meditation at the same time too. You are limitless.
